Another “Grown up” Concert
Last night I went to see Broken Social Scene with M, the Jew, and 10HDG. They were at Bass Concert Hall which meant they brought the whole crew with them, horn line and all. The perks of a “grown up” concert are no smokers, no bad weed smell, and seating arrangements.
They didn’t hand out free tequila. They did give it all they had though. Kevin Drew has been sick and they cancelled the show in Dallas the night before. He reported that he still had a fever and would do his best. I am amazed he didn’t pass out.
I look forward to their return. They said that they would come back through Austin when they reschedule the Dallas show. I am hoping they keep there word.
