PC to TV converter

by @ 6:08 pm. Filed under stuff dudes tell us about

How awesome is that?  I needed to find a way to watch my episodes of the Daily Show and work out (something safer than lashing the little netbook to the elliptical machine).  Buying a projector sounded a little impractical.  As did buying a giant monitor.  I found a $40 solution at Frys.  PC to TV converter.  I can attach the VGA adaptor to my computer and then run the cables from the magic box to the s-video on my receiver.

Last night I watched 5 episodes of the Daily Show and 2 movies on hulu.com.  I will keep you posted on how well it works.  So far, I am not too keen that it is using usb for its power supply.

Dude, 5 episodes of The Daily Show, and not one but 2, yes count it two movies? Wow you really had a lot of time on yer hands. You can come do some of my homework if you’re bored.

I was couch bound on Tuesday. I don’t want this allergy thing to make me susceptible to the swine flu. I am all about the couch and plenty of fluids. Yesterday I polished off season one of Strangers with Candy.

I think I will pass on the homework thing. I’ve been doing enough reading at work. Reports, reports, mind numbing reports, and a crap load of useless email.

Tonight I will be watching actual tv and shopping for an indoor bike.
