Just downloaded the new Passion Pit album from eMusic.

I wonder if my co-workers caught me jamming out at my desk?

This album feels like summer.  Not like the 100+ degree summer.  More like a breezy 78.  Add some shorts and rollerskates and BOOM!  That is what this album feels like.  Laid back and chill.

I think that The Reeling will be the official summer skate jam of 2009.  No, I don’t skate.  But I remember in the special features of one of the Charlie’s Angels movies McG referred to Danger, High Voltage by Electric 6 as the summer roller skating jam of 2003. Specifically, the backwards skate only track.

In reality I think that I would probably do the hustle to most of the songs  on the album.  Maybe we will do it at the show in a few weeks.
